I also exasperate with serial to USB adapter and my conundrum is that I was using a USB hub and would only work if plugged into the USB port quickly. Another inappropriate, I came across my refuge series was disabled in my bios and I had to help the profession. I bought the chain for good USB-1 and never looked back. It is well worth the reward.
I've seen mentions on here that the 396XT supports wildcards for I-Calls in some blank or another, so I was wondering if this extended at all to Segment IDs. I.e., If I recognize a deliver machine as two radios in it, UIDs i17564 and i17565, is there a way to push this in so that both IDs use a solitary watercourse slit. Like say, i1756[45], wherein the '4' and '5' in brackets are treated as a scientific reasoning OR between i17564 and i17565? Wasn't unshakable how extensible Uniden could...
