Question: with cb radios.. do you shortage to have an extra antenna in addition to the radio?

Answer: ALL CB radios desire an antenna to work properly.

The only CB radios that DON'T need an an exterior antenna are walkie talkies.

If however you have a car radio or a base station set you undoubtedly DO need an external antenna.

Is anyone cognizant of with the mill CB radio & its tri-ribbon antenna? I have a 78 Magnum with an AM/FM 8-run to earth, BUT it is coded R47, which according to www.magnumgt.com , is a power tri-tie antenna (AM/FM/CB). I have a rook on the side of the bolt for a mic, and the antenna on the car is thicker than the orthodox plant antenna, but doesn't come up to be power. (I'll check tick off under the fender this weekend for that trick). Does anyone here have any pictures of the tri-fillet antenna? I have a illustrate of what the radio is suppositious to look like. thanks.
