I would like to invoke a latest WSJ Walt Mossberg column, entitled "Smartphones Get a Scarcely Smarter" where he says, "The Cellphone - or, more accurately, the strategy formerly known as the cellphone is getting more like a sparse transportable computer." The article was a similarity of Motorola's Q compared to the Treo 700p and it was a just inquisition of the benefits of one vs the other. While the carriers' present the phone got mentioned for the use of the EV-DO networks, no other value was associated with the network.
Bells and Whistles, ergonomics and errors! These were the discussions in spite of the phones. So much for a purple moment. The closest fashion to a network property was a exchange about attachments! While Henry Sinnreich would be fortunate that the sharply defined unclear of the navy provider was Internet access, nothing about forum was of interest. For a Bell Vanguard like me this is nothing but sad.
