Forgetfulness is a plebeian trait; it's just more evident and more pronounced as we age. Misplacing keys, glasses or the TV isolated control happens to all of us. Of course there are a lot of other examples of forgetfulness that escalation with age but I seem to have forgotten them.

One thing I have learned, though: Never put anything in a "new" place. You'll never remember, never find relocated tackle. Ask ME. Or really, don't. I won't know where anything is that's been moved.

The solution is simple. You may clean your drawers for tidiness and cleanliness but you can never move anything to a many drawer. The same applies to closets and cupboards. And unless you rotate the contents of your freezer regularly, tripe shoved in the back will be forgotten. Keeping a list - preferably dated - can keep off this. Just remember where the list is.
