I just bought a GE Dect 6.0 cordless phone. I am getting so much static that I cannot hear a thing.?

Answer: Influence a rear it back, and get a good Panasonic phone. DECT is a lot of crap, (HYPE), it is operated around 1900 Mhz., using G3 technology, for the for the most part home phone owner this means little to nothing. You can get a good multi-phone cordless system at a shame price.
