Rumor has it that HTC and Samsung have some quad-seed smartphones up their sleeves, and now, new information suggests LG may be joining them.

A newly leaked idol shows the all new LG X3,which is expected to feature a NVIDIA Tegra 3 chipset and a 4.7-inch, 1280x720 acme-resolution display with physical capacitive buttons below the screen. The X3 is also said to advertise a profile that's about 9mm thick. We're seeing a lot of phones with 8MP rear-facing and 1.3MP front-fa web cams, and the X3 isn't likely to be an exception to this trend. Reportedly, the X3 will feature 16GB of onboard storage as well as a microSD union card slot.

It's a little unclear whether the X3 will feature 21Mbps HSPA or LTE, though both options are imaginable. Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity is also likely. The X3 is expected to run Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) out of the box, and will disposed to ship sometime in late spring or early summer.
