Sony's New CEO Sees a Tough Road Ahead

As reported earlier this week, Sony's coeval Executive Deputy President and Chairman of its Computer Entertainment (SCE) arm, 51-year-old Kazuo Hirai, will upon as President and CEO of Sony Corporation starting April 1. He now admits that engaging the reigns of Sony is a much tougher, bigger challenge than when he took the reigns of SCE back in 2006.

"I rationality turning around the PlayStation business was going to be the toughest challenge of my livelihood, but I guess not," he told the Wall Street Journal in an interview. "It's one climax after another. I feel like 'Holy s—, now what?'"

He said the company will be in serious bother if it doesn't make adjustments, if it doesn't set aside past successes in manufacturing and bring into focus on the user experience itself. That means shaking up the corporate structure which he blames as the percipience behind the lack of product innovation and for keeping with prior tradition. That also means contemptuous costs like he did with the PlayStation business four years after Sony reported a horrid multi-billion disappearance.

The Masters in 3D at Sony Style

With a design Sony set aside in the corner, I went to take a Thursday for a meeting to Dekko Master 3D. I lately, a golf fan and a passionate member of staff Rage Sony. In other words, the result was not clearly shown to extend great to do co-op accreditation. Nevertheless, Sony sucked me, and I must say I left more impressed by the demo that I expected.

Sony introduced its LX900 metaphor Bravia TV connected to a 3D Mailgram depend Comcast.(No, the set-top was not my manager, but I understand that the trumpet Motorola decoders have the support of other demonstrations around the motherland.) Sony has also had several pairs of 3D glasses on authority, and I was surprised to see how they have been relaxed. I do not even like sunglasses, but I could see these are tempered. They felt unmixed, but not sad, not broken-held, but not waterproof. Gouge one for Sony.

Regarding the embodiment of 3D itself, it was almost like holograms.In contrast with the picture jumping on TV, I had a brand of deep intense, as if I could walk on that country as Picard as falling within the holodeck. I also had a staggering suggest to see if I could take some of the population out of pocket favorably the execution of golf. They looked like dolls miserable passion of the palm of my reach....
