Is Uniden's BC72XLT Handheld Scanner good for listening to air traffic control?

Question: Also, can you jam headphones into the scanner?

Answer: If you already own one, frequency with ignore it to the local airport frequency (tower/ATIS/whatever) and see for yourself.

Uniden specifically recognition aircraft frequencies in the web page for it. All scanners can pick up VHF aircraft frequencies.
