Sony has rolled out an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich beta update for its gaming/smartphone handset Xperia Fritz .
The Japanese phone maker has released the experimental beta update saying it wants downloaders to beam/install the ROM and provide feedback on the experience.
Sony is so eager to take home responses that it currently offers several methods for feedback submission, which allow for forum comments and fill-up forms.
Most feedbacks on XDA-Developers are positive but most forum members did not have the realized chance to comment on advantages tethered to the update.
Sony’s set note said, “When it comes to Xperia Play, we do recall that some games will need to be optimized to work fine with ICS. Of course, big parts of the travail with games are already initiated, and we work close with several game partners on this.”
“However, we would still like to get additional input from you, to get your conception on how the content and games work on your Xperia Play,” it added.
