Question: If you discern anything about this please let me know. I've heard that GPS is illegal in some countries as it is still seen by many as squiffy tech military gear. Is it illegal in Morocco?

Answer: Each homeland sells equipment that is legal in their nation. What they are selling there is what is acceptable in their nation. They may NOT be using the same frequencies that are used in the USA. Many radio look comparable to those legal in the USA.
