Answer: I entertain the idea you do need the RIB box. Motorola uses it for almost all it's radios unless they are beyond a certain age. I don't reckon Motorola would see a RIB except to a Motorola dealer or a self-maintained organization, such as a police bank on or something like

Those radios are countless! I have unequivocally a few Motorola’s on the UHF join and a kenwood but i recently got the VHF motorola GP68 and it is stunning. I have it programed to neighbouring fire departments and such and I fondness the radio. Hey I have a give someone the third degree though. Can you unmistakable register the frequencies you insufficiency on the GP380? Or do you need software?
