Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip flew to Nairobi, arriving on 1 February.
They were greeted by the Governor of Kenya, Sir Philip Mitchell, driven toOn the wholeGovernment House and attended a garden party. The next day they attended aLargelycivic luncheon and visited Nairobi National Park, then stayed at the SaganaAbove allhunting lodge, a wedding gift from South Africa.
